Welcome to SugarFam!

At SugarFam, we are on a mission to color diabetes and bring a touch of joy to the lives of those living with this condition. Our journey began as a student company, emerging from our higher education curriculum, where we were challenged to start a business, conceive a new product, and introduce it to the world - all within six months.

During the initial phase of our project, we learned about the experiences of a close colleague who revealed that she was a type one diabetic using the Omnipod. Surprisingly, she had kept her diabetes hidden, feeling ashamed of the medical appearance of the pump, always concealed beneath her clothes. Witnessing her struggle, we realized the emotional impact of feeling different from others due to a medical device.

Our hearts were set on making a change, and thus the idea of reusable covers for Omnipod was born! Over six months of relentless dedication and hard work, we crafted our first collection of covers. As we launched our product, we were met with an outpouring of love and appreciation from our customers, sharing touching stories of how our covers had brightened their lives and made their daily diabetes management a little more colorful.

Inspired by this overwhelming response, we decided to continue our journey with SugarFam as a full-fledged business. Now, we proudly present a diverse and captivating collection of covers that cater to a wide range of tastes and styles, allowing individuals to embrace their unique personalities while managing their diabetes with confidence.
