What makes the premium patch different?
No Lifting: Glucomart Omnipod tapes are made with a strong durable adhesive designed to securely attach the Omnipod wear without lifting or peeling. To prevent skin irritation when removing the patch use a skin adhesive remover, please refer to the Directions for Use Guide for proper removal techniques.
Opaque: All of our insulin pump patches and CGM patches are made from a thick highly-breathable fabric. Unlike other major brands, once the Omnipod patch is applied, you can not see through it at all. This means images on the Omnipod patch do not become dull when the patch is applied to the skin.
Flexible: Omnipod Premium Patches use specially engineered stretch-woven material featuring 8-way stretch and hight elasticity, allowing the Omnipod patch to move naturally with the skin.
Woven Interlocking Fabric: Glucomart Premium Omnipod overpatches use an interlocking woven fabric that never pills or frays. Other patches use either a non-woven fabric or a woven fabric that unravels. The problem with non-woven fabric is it traps sweat under the patch, this causes skin irritation or premature lifting of the patch. Traditional woven patches provided more comfort, but quickly unravel. Glucomart Omnipod patches use the highly breathable woven fabric that will never fray or trap moisture.
Hypoallergenic: Glucomart Omnipod overlays are made with a medical-grade hypoallergenic adhesive formulated specifically to reduce the incidence of contact dermatitis and Type 4 allergic reactions. Adverse skin reactions are also reduced by the use of our specially engineered med tape material that allows air and moisture to freely move through the patch. This reduces the risk of sweat or allergens getting trapped under the Omnipod patch and causing skin irritation.
Works in Harsh Climates: Glucomart Premium Omnipod patch was designed to preform well in harsh climates. From high humidity to below freezing, this patch will stick.

Waterproof: Glucomart Omnipod G6 Stickers are 100% waterproof. Our Omnipod cover stickers wont peel or lift during showers or swimming.
No Peeling: Our stickers for Omnipod transmitters are cut to be slightly smaller than the transmitter so there is a lower likelihood of the edges peeling.
Easy Removal: Omnipod Stickers can be gently removed from the Omnipod without leaving any sticky residue. This allows for frequent changing of the Omnipod decal. No need to wait until the next Omnipod sensor change, Glucomart Omnipod stickers and be changed as frequently as you would like.
Won't Block Transmission: All Glucomart stickers for continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps are made from special bluetooth-friendly material that wont block your Omnipod signals.
OMNIPOD ADHESIVE PATCHES DIRECTION FOR USE
CLEAN SKIN: Clean skin with non-moisturizing soap and water before applying Omnipod and Omnipod overpatch. Using soap containing lotion (moisturizing soap) will affect adhesion. Small amounts of body hair will not affect adhesion. Areas with large amounts of body hair should be clipped close to the skin or shaved for best results.
PLACE PATCH: Remove 1 section of the Omnipod tape backing and place on skin. Carefully remove the remaining sections 1 at a time until patch is on. Don’t touch the adhesive when applying. Do not lift the patch away from the skin once applied.
ACTIVATE ADHESIVE: The patch is heat activated. Rubbing the Omnipod adhesive tape will activate its bonding agent, which allows it to bond with the skin. After applying the patch, rub it from the center outwards. Do not rub from the ends toward the center, or you may cause the ends to peel away from the skin. The adhesive needs 1 hour to bond to the skin. Apply the patch at least one hour before exercising, swimming or bathing.
REMOVE PATCH: To remove patch, peel off SLOWLY in the direction of hair growth, which is usually away from the center of the body on the trunk, and in the downward direction on the arms or legs. A patch that is strongly adhered can be loosened by soaking in a removal aiding solution. You can use skin tac remover or mix a 1:1 rubbing alcohol/vegetable oil or baby oil solution. Apply solution to patch and wait 5 minutes before attempting removal. You can continue to soak the patch until it can be comfortably removed. Most rashes occur from removing patch without a removal aid.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PATCH WON’T STICK: Don’t touch the adhesive when applying. Make sure patch is applied to clean skin with no lotion. Using soap containing lotion (moisturizing soap) will affect adhesion. Make sure patch gets warm enough (body temperature) to activate the adhesive. Adhesive takes ~1 hour to bond to skin. Once bonded it is rated to last 25 days.
PAINFUL REMOVAL: Use skin tac remover or mix a 1:1 rubbing alcohol/vegetable oil or baby oil solution. Apply solution to patch and wait 5 minutes before attempting removal. You can continue to soak the patch until it can be comfortably removed. Most rashes occur from removing patch without a removal aid.
SKIN UNDER PATCH IS ITCHING: Rinse patch with water. Most irritation occurs from sweat irritating the skin under the patch. If irritation does not subside after 30 minutes, remove the patch with a removal aid and clean area with rubbing alcohol. The adhesive is formulated for extended wear on skin and is free from all major allergens. Allergies to this adhesive are very rare. If a rash occurs it is most likely from removing the patch without an adequate removal aid, such as skin tack remover, rubbing alcohol, baby oil, etc.
